Cadbury
@Colin1949: The end of Cadbury ! Another historical British company sold for shareholder profit. As ever, greed triumphs over all.

Haiti Earthquake
This again (click link below) shows that the UN lives in another World, it is a disorganisation. Remember when UN troops left people to be massacred. They waste taxpayers money and this is the result.
Colin1949 Again the UN is just useless - Security concerns cause doctors to leave hospital, quake victims - http://bit.ly/6UHvpb #cnn
America and other countries are, again, doing the work needed. Time to scrap the UN ???

UK snow - roads and pavements
As suing the UK government is unlikely following the snow fiasco, will those injured and affected by travel disruption sue local authorities for the state of the roads and pavements ? The cry of 'it only happens once in a. . .' (add as many years as you like) cannot be accepted any more.
What exactly does the British taxpayer, motoring, individual and corporate, expect from government, local and central, in regards to infrastructure maintenance ? What should the commuter expect for their expensive yet poor train and bus services ?
Perhaps companies could sue for loss of income due to staff being unable to get to work and insurance companies for payments caused by accidents resulting from road conditions. Surely not an 'act of God' !
